London based DJ & producer Joel Corry first burst onto the scene with his record-breaking single ‘Sorry’, a twist on Monsta Boy’s classic UKG anthem ‘I’m Sorry’, that quickly established itself as one of the biggest tracks of the summer in 2019. Playlisted by BBC Radio 1, Capital and Kiss FM, It spent 8 weeks in the Official UK Singles Chart, peaking at #6, and also broke the UK Shazam Record for most tags in 24 hours – over 41,000! – after being synced on Love Island. The single is now Gold certified in the UK and Double Platinum in Ireland.
Official remixes for the likes of Wiley, Aitch and Benny Benassi have quickly followed, and Joel was also invited to play at this year’s ADE in Amsterdam for the first time. As a DJ, he is widely regarded as one of the busiest on the circuit, playing over 80+ shows throughout the summer, including a series of residencies across Ibiza and the party islands.
Joel started DJing at the age of 13, and has over 10 years of club DJing experience under his belt. Growing up during the peak of the UK Garage era, Joel’s early musical influences included Todd Edwards, MJ Cole and DJ EZ, whom continue to influence his output to this day. Joel also joined KISS FM in 2017, hosting a weekly show on Thursday Night KISS and regularly performing for KISS across Europe at venues such as Ocean Beach Ibiza, BH Mallorca and Sisu Marbella.
