Inspired by nature, they want to look after it. That’s why this year they've teamed up with WWF to protect global habitats. But the good work starts at home, so they have loads of fun ways for you to get involved and make a difference right here in Kiwi Camp! That’s what we call good kiwi karma. *Drum roll* A tour of the Kiwi Camp hosted by Old Mout Cider...
SKIM IT TO WIN IT
The Kiwi Camp is famous for making recycling fun - and this year we’re doing it again! An exotic themed skee-ball style game will allow you to throw your empty sample cup into one of different point-scoring holes. If you hit 100, you’ll win your very own carved pineapple cup to enjoy your Old Mout from!
WWF: WEAR AND CARE
Create a piece of festival-ready fashion and help save the planet at the same time! Simply upcycle your old, unloved t-shirt into something brand new to earn your Wear and Care patch. Plus, while you're here you can find out about why we're working with WWF and make a small donation to help us out!
Grooving into the afternoon, we'll encourage those partaking in the Boardmasters party to get your glitter on with disco divas, Sarah Hunt and DJ Darlo! Get ready to restore your cosmic karma, reboot any tired booties and revive your festival spirit in a seamless session of flow style yoga to dazzling disco soundtracks!
OLD MOUT'S TWILIGHT TAKEOVER
As the day starts to give way to the night, Old Mout start to pick the tempo up with their Twilight Takeover. Headlined by MC Matt, he'll be playing era beats from 70's-90's, taking requests, giving shout-outs as well as supporting the usual fun and spontaneous happenings around this time; from dance offs to musicial statures, conga to giant skipping and lip sync battles.
Kiwi Camp 2019 will bring back their biggest Crowd-puller - Rockaoke. Rockaoke is a 5-piece amped up band which puts the mic in the hands of the Boardmasters party festival goer. From rap to rock anthems, Rockaoke lifts the tempo within camp and gets everybody involved and singing along.
